About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Development team at Person Centred Software Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and maintaining our cutting-edge infrastructure, ensuring the highest levels of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Robust Systems: Build and maintain robust systems and frameworks to support core functionality, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Optimize Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our Azure and Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring maximum efficiency and performance.
  • Develop Clean Code: Write clean, scalable code using.NET C#, adhering to industry best practices and standards.
  • Participate in SDLC: Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, ensuring quality and security are at the forefront.
  • Collaborate with Product Team: Collaborate with the Product Team to embed quality into the development process, ensuring our software meets the highest standards.
  • Respond to Infrastructure Outages: Respond to infrastructure outages as part of the DevOps Team, including out-of-hours support, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime.
  • Enhance Development Processes: Continuously contribute to the enhancement of our development processes and infrastructure, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve.
  • Address Security Incidents: Address and resolve security incidents, ensuring the security of our systems and data.
Requirements
  • Strong Experience: Strong experience with Kubernetes and/or Azure Infrastructure, with a solid understanding of cloud computing principles.
  • Proficiency in C#: Proficiency in C# development, including BDD and Unit testing using C# and MS Test/XUnit.
  • Full Stack Exposure: Full stack exposure, including web development (Razor), C# service tier, and SQL Server database development.
  • Strong Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript, with the ability to think big picture while managing complex technical details.
  • Excellent Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Distributed Software Development: Experience with distributed software development and working in SaaS or multi-tenant solutions would be an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working across distributed teams would be desirable.
