Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Corporate Development Manager to join our team at 55 Exec Search. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the UK and European business for a globally respected research consultancy.

About the Role:

  • A minimum of 5+ years in business development or consultative sales within the corporate sector.
  • Strong background in selling research, advisory, or consultancy services to senior corporate stakeholders.
  • Exceptional ability to engage with C-suite executives, develop trust, and navigate complex decision-making processes.
  • A proactive self-starter with the ability to operate independently and manage your own portfolio of clients.
  • Familiarity with policy and regulatory environments affecting corporations is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hunt and Develop Corporate Accounts: Selling research and advisory services to senior decision-makers, including CEOs, CFOs, and other key stakeholders across the corporate landscape.
  • Lead Generation: Strategically identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and building a robust pipeline.
  • End-to-End Sales Management: Overseeing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a seamless process that maximises revenue opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Developing and executing a strategy for penetrating untapped markets, leveraging your network to open doors to new clients, attending events and roundtables to bring in new clients.
  • Reporting & Insights: Providing detailed sales tracking, reporting, and feedback to the leadership team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Continuously monitoring market conditions, competitor activities, and policy developments to stay informed and position offerings effectively.
