About the Role:

This temporary contract has the potential to become permanent and involves driving and operating various HGV Class 2 drainage vehicles, including Vacuum Tankers, Liquid Waste Tankers, and Combi Units.

You will be working closely with a skilled operative to assist in the operation of machinery for the clearance and maintenance of surface water and foul water drainage systems. You will also be maintaining drainage networks for a variety of customers, including commercial, domestic, and water boards.

Shift Patterns and Pay Rates:

With competitive pay rates, you can expect to earn between £12.75-£16.41 per hour (PAYE), depending on your experience. There are also enhanced rates after 10 hours per shift. The exact start and finish times will vary due to the nature of the work, but day shifts typically run from 06:00-16:00, while night shifts run from 17:00-03:00.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a valid HGV Class 2 Licence with a CPC. Previous drainage experience or experience driving and operating Combi Units and/or Waste Tankers would be beneficial.
