Job Overview

Just Group plc is seeking a highly skilled Chief Credit Methodologies Specialist to lead its credit rating activities and ensure the accuracy and reliability of internal credit ratings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and embed internal credit rating methodologies for new asset classes
  • Review and perform analysis on new fund manager credit rating methodologies
  • Perform internal validation activities as set out in the Credit Rating Validation Framework

Key Activities

  1. Develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive credit rating methodologies
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of new methodologies
  3. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  4. Provide expert advice on credit rating-related matters

Requirements

  • Relevant experience within a credit rating agency or ratings team within an asset manager/insurance company
  • Strong understanding of credit rating methodologies and risk assessment techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
