Job Title: Finance and Payroll Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance and Payroll Administrator to join our team at Zenith People. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the execution of operational and back-office support tasks required to administer timely and compliant payroll services, credit control, and finance administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll information into Sage and produce payslips and reporting information.
  • Process CIS payroll, including submissions to umbrella companies and payment.
  • Regularly back up the payroll system and distribute payslips.
  • Upload BACS to bank and request authorization of payments.
  • Submit invoice totals to the CID facility.
  • Copy timesheets and invoices as necessary.
  • Deal with queries and update payroll and invoicing spreadsheets.
  • Highlight recurring issues and administer pension contributions.
  • Process payroll deductions and administer payments of SSP, SMP, and SPP.
  • Process monthly expenses and produce weekly invoices for distribution to clients.
  • Raise purchase orders/call-off orders when requested.
Credit Control:
  • Request purchase order numbers from clients for invoicing.
  • Process and resolve invoice queries.
  • Post supplier and customer bank payments as required.
  • Sending statements to customers weekly.
  • Reconcile facilities payments daily.
Quality and Audit:
  • Ensure all legislative requirements are met.
  • Monitor the pay and charge bible to ensure it is maintained.
  • Comply with internal policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external auditing activity.
