Job Overview

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Fab Quality system. This role will work closely with the Operations teams to drive best practice and lead the organization towards world-class manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to drive best practice and improve manufacturing metrics and performance.
  • Lead the implementation and analysis of the Fab Quality system, ensuring its sustainment and improvement.
  • Lead and champion Quality problem-solving and improvement opportunities, identified through data analysis, customer audits, complaints, Six Sigma projects, and other quality-related programs.
  • Develop and deliver necessary training to staff, ensuring effective communication and understanding of quality procedures.
  • Write, review, and approve reports, SOPs, and other technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ISO standards.
  • Lead internal and external audits, managing supplier quality programs and ensuring robust reporting and investigative processes.
  • Establish and maintain a proactive reporting and investigative process to improve engagement with staff and reduce Quality non-conformances across the business.
  • Participate in the CRB/MRB process, providing informed suggestions to management and ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
Requirements
  • Experience in a Semiconductor role within a Manufacturing organization, preferably in semi-conductor/electronic fabrication.
  • Proven experience of driving Quality improvements through an organization.
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
  • Six Sigma trained.
Skills and Experience
  • Experience of Semiconductors and implementing and maintaining Management standards and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, APQP, RCA, OCAPs, Kaizen, CI, and modern manufacturing techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply Structured Root Cause Analysis to resolve issues and problems, including Situational, 5 Why, 8D.
  • Audit Skills.
  • Engaging and influencing stakeholders.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Allocation of work to ensure targets are met.
  • Strong administrative/organisational skills.
  • Experienced in adhering to ISO standards and applying risk-based thinking.
  • A proactive attitude and ability to act as a role model for PragmatIC Semiconductor's values and work to the highest standards to ensure Quality criteria are always upheld.
  • A resilient and flexible individual with a passion to develop and improve processes, themselves, and the team through a strong work ethic, commitment, and as a good team player.
