About the Role
">We are looking for a highly skilled Engineer Surveyor to join our team in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a range of mobile machinery, lift systems, and cranes across various locations.
">The successful candidate will possess strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in areas such as steam pressure, pressure vessels, piping, and NVQ. They will also be familiar with industry-specific regulations and legislation.
">This role offers a competitive starting salary of £40,092 per annum, plus a £4,250 car allowance and 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays. There is also potential to progress to CAT 2 level.
">Responsibilities:
">- Conduct inspections of mobile machinery, lift systems, and cranes at customer sites and designated locations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and reports.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with customers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry-specific regulations and legislation.
Requirements:
">- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant work experience in mobile plant inspection or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, particularly in areas such as steam pressure, pressure vessels, piping, and NVQ.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and legislation (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
