Job Overview

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as a Deputy Directorate Manager for General & Emergency Surgery. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide transformational leadership and change management across our site, working closely with the Directorate Manager, Matrons, and Clinical Director.
  • Deliver a safe and responsive service for our patients, through continuous service improvement and engagement with all stakeholders.
  • Lead the Emergency General Surgery service based at the John Radcliffe Hospital, ensuring timely and responsive emergency surgery services.
  • Oversee the General Surgery Elective services, with responsibility for delivery of the RTT and Cancer performance indicators.
