Role Overview

Moira is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Golf Course Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the golf course is presented in its best condition at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain all playing surfaces, set up the golf course, and rake bunkers as directed.
  • Carry out construction, aeration, and turfing tasks.
  • Uphold high standards of customer care and service at all times.
  • Follow company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe environment for customers, visitors, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Operate and maintain grass cutting machinery safely and report any issues to your line manager.
  • Complete any additional duties as required.
Requirements
  • Level 6 Certificate in Sports Turf or equivalent.
  • Spraying qualifications (PA1, PA2a, PA6).
  • Minimum standard grade in English and Mathematics.
  • A valid driving licence.
Desirable Attributes
  • First Aid Certificate (training can be provided).
  • IOSH Working Safely Certificate (training can be provided).
  • Familiarity with the game of golf.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing tasks.
