About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Bank Staff Member to join our team at Bright Horizons Fleet Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work on a part-time basis, supporting our nursery team to deliver high-quality care and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the nursery team in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene and room preparation.
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding.
  • Contribute to creating a positive, happy, and safe environment for children and colleagues.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working with children, such as a Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, or Childminder.
  • A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • The ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
  • A sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the nursery.
