We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Qualified Animal Licensing Officer to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections of premises and operations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and authorities' policies.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough inspections of premises and operations to identify any non-compliance with statutory requirements and authorities' policies.
- Respond to service requests and complaints, providing advice and assistance to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
- Adopt a positive enforcement role, including serving Regulatory Notices as necessary.
- Undertake designated specialist duties with minimal supervision, promoting high standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene awareness and controls.
- Make decisions on a day-to-day basis regarding routine duties and authorities' policies, ensuring all records and databases are maintained and up-to-date.
- Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health (or equivalent).
- Registration with the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board (EHORB) or eligibility for working towards EHORB registration.
- Demonstrable experience as an Environmental Health Practitioner/Officer.
- A competitive rate of pay: £40.00 per hour.

- A temporary contract with the possibility of extension or permanence.
