As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections of premises and operations to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and authorities' policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of premises and operations to identify any non-compliance with statutory requirements and authorities' policies.
  • Respond to service requests and complaints, providing advice and assistance to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
  • Adopt a positive enforcement role, including serving Regulatory Notices as necessary.
  • Undertake designated specialist duties with minimal supervision, promoting high standards of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene awareness and controls.
  • Make decisions on a day-to-day basis regarding routine duties and authorities' policies, ensuring all records and databases are maintained and up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Environmental Health (or equivalent).
  • Registration with the Environmental Health Officers Registration Board (EHORB) or eligibility for working towards EHORB registration.
  • Demonstrable experience as an Environmental Health Practitioner/Officer.
