About the Role

We are seeking an experienced teacher to join our team at Hailsham Community College Academy Trust. This is a full-time position, required from January 2025. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.

About Us

Hailsham Community College Academy Trust is a thriving 2-19 all-through college that values excellence and student progress. Our college has undergone significant development in recent years, with the opening of a new state-of-the-art development on the secondary site. This includes a three-storey teaching block containing 22 classrooms and SEND hub, a fully refurbished Post 16 Learning Centre, and a floodlit all-weather sports pitch.

The Opportunity
  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences to students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum plans.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve excellent student outcomes.
About You

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who shares our commitment to excellence. You will have a degree in a relevant subject area, a PGCE or equivalent, and experience of teaching in a secondary setting. You will also be able to demonstrate your ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to the ongoing development of the college.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including cycle-to-work scheme and corporate membership to Benenden Health Care.
