Mechanical Fitter for Heavy Machinery

We're looking for a highly skilled Mobile Mechanical Plant Fitter to join our team in the Yorkshire region. As a key member of our 24/7 engineering function, you'll work on rollers, pavers, JCBs, and other plant equipment to ensure they're running smoothly and efficiently.

Your expertise in agricultural equipment, such as JCB tractors or combine harvesters, or paving plant equipment will be invaluable in this role. You'll be responsible for:

• Responding to plant breakdowns and getting assets back up and running quickly
• Carrying out emergency repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime
• Owning small projects and seeing them through to completion
• Working closely with contractors and suppliers to optimize maintenance activities

You can expect a competitive salary package, including:

* Basic salary: £42,000 - £58,000 per annum

* Bonus: Up to 12% of basic salary

* Callouts, overtime, and paid travel time: Additional income potential
