Radiopharmacy Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Radiopharmacy Technician to join our team at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine Department, you will be responsible for the manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring the quality control of our products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver the responsibilities outlined below, as well as those not included here.
• Carry out technical duties required for the provision of radiopharmaceuticals to the Trust and its customers.
• Manufacture radiopharmaceuticals, radiopharmacy environmental monitoring, and radiopharmaceutical quality control.

Requirements:

• BTEC in Pharmaceutical Sciences or NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Diploma in nuclear medicine or BSc in pharmaceutical science, life or physical sciences.
• Eligible for registration with General Pharmaceutical Council or other professional organisation such as Register of Clinical Technologists (RCT).
• Ability to arrive on-site by 5am without reliance on public transport.
