Care Home Manager Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Care Home Manager to lead our team in Guisborough. Main Duties:
  1. Provide strong leadership and management to the care home, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  2. Recruit, train, and develop a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and personal growth.
  3. Ensure compliance with CQC standards and address areas for improvement.
  4. Develop effective relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders, promoting open communication and person-centred care.
  5. Manage the financial aspects of the nursing home, including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost control, while maintaining quality care.
  6. Monitor and evaluate performance, implementing necessary changes to enhance care quality and resident satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in managing a care home, with a track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving good CQC ratings.
  2. In-depth knowledge of the regulatory framework.
  3. Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, resource management, and cost control.
  4. Recognised qualification in health & social care.

The successful candidate can expect a salary range of £45,000 - £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.
