Kitchen Porter Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Porter. As a key member of our brigade, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all equipment, utensils, and crockery are clean and in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and crockery
  • Following cleaning and maintenance procedures
  • Helping with the laundry for back of house requirements
  • Assisting Chefs
  • Helping with deliveries and restocking
  • Assisting Cleaning Chef stations
  • Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards

Requirements:

  • Good work ethic and can work as part of a busy team
  • Enjoys a busy environment
  • Flexible approach to the working week
  • Methodical and clean worker
  • Enjoys following checklists and takes satisfaction from your work
