Workshop Controller Role:

You will have a busy and thriving workshop to manage on a daily basis, overseeing a team of skilled technicians. This position is responsible for all aspects of workshop daily management, from assigning tasks to technicians, maintaining tooling and equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Have full responsibility for the assignment of tasks, taking into account workload and commitment to customers as agreed by the reception team.
  2. Ensure workshop processes meet guidelines on both retail, internal, and warranty procedures, maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  3. Provide regular updates on the progress of work through the workshop, highlighting any potential concerns as they arise and taking preventative measures to avoid any impact on customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  1. Ideally previous experience of working in a similar role, such as a Workshop Controller, Foreman, Manager, or Service Manager.
  2. Confidence with a strong understanding of workshop processes and how to get the best from a team, with excellent leadership and communication skills.
  3. Full driving licence, with a clean driving record.
