We are seeking a highly skilled Chartered Senior Building Surveyor to join our team at Beach Baker, a leading practice of Chartered Building Surveyors and designers based in the Cotswold District.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a growing independent practice, expanding your knowledge and making a real difference in the field of residential property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out building surveys, with a significant percentage of work on traditional and Listed buildings.
  • Managing projects located in the Southwest of England, predominantly in the Cotswolds.
  • Working with a diverse client base, including private clients, rural estates, local authorities, charities, developers, and contractors.

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualification with a minimum of 2 years PQE.
  • Working knowledge of planning and heritage legislation, building regulations, and onsite experience.
  • Project management and contract administration skills, including JCT suite.
  • Building Surveys, predominantly RICS Level 3 and some Level 2, Commercial Surveys, Maintenance and dilapidations inspections, schedules, and negotiations.
  • Experience in Conservation and Heritage projects, Construction design and management for a range of commercial, residential, and heritage projects.
