About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated SEN / SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will be responsible for providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic and engaging sessions to meet the needs and advance the educational and social-emotional journey of the young person.
  • Plan each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring.
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress.
Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS).
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs.
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes.
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed).
  • Two professional references.
