Job Title: Production/Mixing Operative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Production/Mixing Operative to join our team at Proman. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for safely operating mixing machines, combing raw materials, and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Combing all raw materials into the mixing system
  • Safely operating the mixing machines (once trained)
  • Lifting and weighing materials based on works orders
  • Palletising finished goods
  • General housekeeping of the mixing area
  • Other general production duties

Requirements:

  • Physical fitness to work on your feet all shift
  • Ability to lift large bags of ingredients weighing approximately 25Kg each into the mixers
  • Good numerical and written capabilities to ensure proper operational practices are followed

Shifts and Pay:

Weekly rotating shifts: 6am-2pm Monday-Friday, 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday, and 10pm-6am Sunday-Thursday

£11.44 per hour for 0-39 hours for the first 12 weeks. After 12 weeks, the pay rate for the 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm shifts increases to £12.30 per hour, with the night shift increasing to £14.87.
