**Job Overview:** Become a vital member of our team as a Field Service Mechanic at Orion Electrotech Sales in Southeast England. In this critical role, you will provide on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs for gully emptier and vacuum tankers throughout the region.


About the Position:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team to coordinate jobs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Document all work completed, including parts used and follow-up requirements.
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out regular vehicle checks to identify potential problems and prevent costly repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems of gully emptier and vacuum tankers.
  • Maintain open communication channels with colleagues to guarantee efficient job scheduling and customer satisfaction.
  • Document all work completed, including parts used and any subsequent actions required.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in heavy vehicle maintenance, preferably with gully emptier or vacuum tankers.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, combined with exceptional diagnostic skills.
  • A valid driver's license with an unblemished driving record.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle maintenance are highly valued.
