We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Paramedic to join our team at Oak Tree Health Centre. As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake clinical practice at a specialist level, using expert knowledge and clinical skills to deliver holistic care to patients accessing primary care services.
- Assess undiagnosed patients with a range of acute, non-acute, and chronic medical conditions, taking history, making appropriate physical examinations, formulating diagnoses, and carrying through management treatment plans.
- Discuss with GPs where appropriate and make referrals to other health professionals in primary and secondary care.
- Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, integrating drug and non-drug based treatment methods into a management plan.
- Accurately triage and prioritise patients, including in emergency situations.
- Support the effective management of Infection Prevention & Control.
- Ensure clinical practice is safe, effective, and responsive, remaining within the boundaries of competence and acknowledging limitations.
- Current HCPC Registration as Paramedic with no restrictions on practice.
- Educated to degree/diploma level in Paramedicine.
- Minimum of Level 6 qualification in management of Minor Illness and Minor Injuries.
- Full UK Driving License.
