Job Title: BFC Driver and Warehouse Operative

Location: Redditch

Hours: 38.5 (08:30-17:00 M-T) & (08:30-15.30F)

Salary: £25,833.60

Purpose:

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse duties, including:

  • Goods in and out processing
  • Forklift operation
  • Organising stock and ensuring warehouse cleanliness
  • Picking and preparing orders for dispatch
  • Loading various types of transport
  • Completing and processing necessary paperwork for goods

Additionally, the role involves driving duties across multiple company sites, including:

  • Delivering goods to customers
  • Restocking KANBAN and Bin Systems at customer sites
  • Collecting goods from suppliers and third-party partners
  • Ensuring company vehicles are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
Key Responsibilities:
  • Waste Management: Uphold company waste and recycling standards to reduce environmental impact and costs.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure the warehouse, equipment, and vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained.
  • Inter-site Support: Be willing to assist other company sites when required.
  • Fleet Management: Use equipment safely and responsibly, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
  • Stock Control: Maintain accurate stock levels, support stock checks, and assist with restocking customer sites.
  • Deliveries: Verify accuracy of orders before dispatching.
Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence, able to operate both manual and automatic vehicles (Essential)
  • Forklift (Counterbalance) experience (Desirable, training can be provided)
  • Proficiency in using PCs (Essential)
  • Strong communication skills (Essential)
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently or as part of a team (Essential)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards (Essential)
  • Good command of English, both written and verbal (Essential)
  • Willingness to learn new skills (Essential)
