About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transaction Services Director to join our Corporate Finance team at BDO UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading financial due diligence projects, developing and growing the Transaction Services business, and mentoring and developing team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial due diligence projects, including overseeing day-to-day progress and driving the delivery of quality transaction advice to clients.
  • Create environments in which team members can thrive, supporting their development and progression.
  • Work across multiple concurrent projects, prioritizing clients and teams effectively.
  • Take ownership of commercial and risk management.
  • Help team members to use new tools and approaches, such as data analytics.
  • Maintain existing client and referrer relationships, including through Key Account Management programmes.
  • Deliver pitches and presentations to win work and grow our brand.
  • Identify areas for operational improvement and take ownership of projects to implement change.
  • Help team members to thrive through involvement in activities such as people management, learning and development, and recruitment.
Requirements
  • Good working knowledge of transaction services.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to continuous development.
  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or relevant work experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
