Senior Tax Leader

Axion Moore Group Ltd is seeking a Senior Tax Leader to lead their tax function and play a pivotal role in the company's corporate and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong corporate tax background and experience in managing tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and disposals.
The Senior Tax Leader will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, tax planning, and accounting for tax. They will also manage tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, and implement tax strategy. Additionally, they will act as the lead Tax Expert in the business and remain abreast of emerging tax laws.
The key areas of expertise and influence for this role will include:
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for tax
- Managing tax aspects of mergers, disposals and acquisitions and implementing tax strategy
- Act as the lead Tax Expert in the business and remain abreast of emerging tax laws
- Comply with all necessary tax legislation whilst make savings and minimising tax bills
- Compile all required documents concerning tax and be the point of contact for HMRC
- Maintaining the Group's tax timetable and ensuring compliance
- Ensure compliance with global transfer pricing requirements
- Play active role in Pillar 2 compliance for the business and its wider group
- Liaison with the Group's tax advisers co-ordinating expert assistance where necessary with aim to reduce reliance on third party support
- Leading a small tax team
