We are seeking an experienced Energy Contract Specialist to join our asset management team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless onboarding of new projects within our clients' renewables pipeline.

Your primary focus will be on acting as in-house legal support, managing all insurance activities across their energy assets, and procuring Power Purchase Agreements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of timely renewal of all insurance policies across the portfolio, ensuring no policies expire without renewal. This includes tracking policy expiration dates, coordinating with brokers to submit required information and documentation, and negotiating favorable terms for the portfolio.
  • Evaluation of potential new risks and collaboration with various brokers to secure optimal insurance coverage.
  • Accurate updating and storage of all new contracts in both the asset management and document management platforms.
  • Handling insurance claims by working closely with the asset manager to ensure timely processing. This includes managing claims related to incidents such as theft, damage, or malfunctions, gathering supporting documentation, and submitting claims to brokers.
  • Management of warranty claims in coordination with the asset manager to ensure efficient and timely processing.

The estimated salary for this role is around £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
