Job Title: Qualified Orthodontic Therapist

Join our esteemed team at Turret Orthodontics Liverpool as a Qualified Orthodontic Therapist. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional orthodontic care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the highest standards of patient care, including those with complex medical, physical, and emotional needs.
  • Support and maintain high standards of patient care and infection control.
  • Provide a patient-centered environment that encourages involvement and education.
  • Act as a positive role model, upholding the Turret values of smiling, being solution-focused, and being an exemplary team player.
  • Ensure all required professional indemnity and CPD are in place.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attitude, attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
Clinical Practice:
  • Greet patients with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Follow Cross Infection Control Policy and all practice policies and procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate digital and manual clinical records.
  • Follow dental ethical guidelines, including rules on confidentiality.
  • Attend regular practice and therapy meetings as requested and fulfill any outcomes.
  • Operate standard office equipment as required.
Education:
  • Maintain own continuing professional development in accordance with CPD requirements.
  • Have clinical knowledge in the specialty area of engagement with and assistance to senior members of staff.
  • Be committed to furthering professional development, learning new skills, and improving technological skills.
Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, staff members, professional bodies, and external agencies.
  • Liaise with dental laboratories regarding work and reports for patients.
  • Communicate with other healthcare groups and work in collaboration regarding patients' continuing care.
  • Provide oral health advice to patients, making reasonable adjustments for possible communication barriers.

Salary: £48-£56K dependent on experience, plus benefits package.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time.

Location: Riverside, L8 6QP.
