Job Title: Supervisor

We're seeking a skilled Supervisor to join our Transportation team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of our transportation maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise contract operational works, ensuring they meet health and safety requirements, budget, and programme deadlines.
  • Lead the delivery of planned, reactive, and third-party repairs, winter maintenance, and scheme works.
  • Supervise directly employed employees and sub-contractors, promoting a culture of health and safety, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and maintain relevant records, including site records, daily allocation sheets, and daily handover reports.
  • Assist with the management of incidents and defects, communicating with stakeholders, and taking part in the development and recruitment of new operatives and apprentices.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a supervisory role, with knowledge of electrical works - Traffic Signals / Streetlighting.
  • Full driving licence and ability to drive.
  • NRSWA operative / Supervisor qualified.
