About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a quintessential rural Cornish general practice as a Salaried GP. With a patient list size of less than 5,000, you will have the chance to develop a strong relationship with your patients and provide high-quality care in a supportive environment.

Practice Details

  • The practice is a GP Teaching Practice hosting Medical Students, providing a great opportunity for professional development and mentorship.
  • The partnership is young and offers a long-term career path, with a view to Partnership available for the right candidate.
  • The patient population is elderly with a good mix of affluence and deprivation, presenting a range of challenges and opportunities for a Salaried GP.
  • The practice is geared towards reducing GP workload, with scanning, coding, and referrals completed for GPs, and excellent additional roles support through the PCN.
  • The practice dispenses to 99% of patients and uses SystmOne.

Your Role

  • As a Salaried GP, you will work 4 or more sessions per week, with a very reasonable workload of circa 13 patients per session.
  • You will have protected admin time slots and typically under 30 contacts on Duty Days.
  • The practice offers flexibility around days and start/finish times, with no evenings or weekends.
