Assembly Operative - Precision Engineering

Location: Whetstone area of Leicestershire

Shifts: Rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 per annum + overtime and shift allowance

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operative to join our client's team in the Whetstone area. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for assembling and polishing optical products used in the defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble and polish optical products to high precision standards
  2. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
  3. Work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet production demands
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve production targets and improve processes
  5. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:
