We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Construction team in the Anglian Water Region.

As an Electrical Site Supervisor, you will report directly to the M & E Manager/Lead Site Supervisor and be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities in the most efficient manner, ensuring a quality end product and adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising site electrical installations
  • Maintaining and ensuring safe systems of work are being adhered to
  • Ensuring a high-quality product is being produced in line with current standards and specifications
  • Verifying new electrical systems
  • Safely isolating LV electrical systems
  • Monitoring supply chain performance and programme
  • Reviewing and monitoring supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they are up to date and relevant to the work activity
  • Attending site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Supporting commissioning activities where required
  • Attending collaborative planning meetings and having an active role in developing site delivery programmes
  • Carrying out electrical isolations
  • Carrying out regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment
  • Holding 121's with supply chain supervisors as required to ensure take 5s are carried out
  • Assisting with the compilation of project takeover documentation
  • Overseeing electrical testing is being undertaken in line with BS7671, reviewing test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers literature
  • Issuing limitation of access permits
  • Keeping a daily diary of site activities
