Estimator Wanted for M&E Projects

We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join our team at 121 Recruitment Services. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical expertise and a proven track record in estimating projects with values from £150k to £10m.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimating projects with values from £150k to £10m
  • Liaising with main clients concerning projects and RFI's
  • Attending tender meetings
  • Analysing project specifications and drawings to prepare accurate cost estimates
  • Collaborating with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements
  • Conducting site visits to assess project scope and gather necessary information
  • Utilising cost estimation software and tools to generate detailed estimates
  • Preparing comprehensive and competitive bids for projects
  • Monitoring project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure cost control
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
  • Presenting estimates and proposals to clients in a clear and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Estimator with Mechanical & Electrical background
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in using cost estimation software and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
