We are seeking an Urban Planning Professional to join our team in Manchester. This is a competitive salary role with a package including benefits such as professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.

Estimated salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.

Our client offers consultancy services to developers, investors, landowners, house builders and the public sector across the region.

The planning team provides diverse and rewarding work that has a direct impact on clients' businesses.

  • Dealing with planning policy and site appraisals;
  • Preparing and managing planning applications;
  • Local plan promotion and monitoring;
  • Section 106 and Community Infrastructure Levy negotiations;
  • Expert witness / planning appeals.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the planning team in providing consultancy services to clients;
  • Working on a wide range of projects across the North West;
  • Developing skills and knowledge to achieve MRTPI qualification.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • RTPI accredited planning graduate, Assistant Planner or Qualified Planner status;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
