Senior Structural Technician - BIM Expert

CRS Professionals (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Technician to join their team in Birmingham. As a leading Engineering Consultancy, they offer a wide range of services to clients across the construction sector, with a strong focus on Civil and Structural Engineering for the built environment.

This role is ideal for a Senior Structural Technician who possesses strong Revit abilities combined with a good understanding of BIM and experience of working on BIM L2 projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical drawings, details, and models for structures, and will have the opportunity to take a lead role on BIM and lead the work on client BIM protocols within an established team.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing for a good work-life balance. The team consists of dedicated civil and structural engineering professionals who focus on the delivery of structural engineering schemes for buildings. Projects are varied and involve high-rise, industrial, and educational schemes.

The ideal candidate will have very strong technical drawing and detailing skills, as well as strong abilities in the use of Revit. They will be involved in a good variation of design schemes, and will have the opportunity to work with steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
