The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with Dreams as a Delivery Driver. As a key member of our delivery service team, you will play a vital role in serving our customers and ensuring their perfect bed is delivered without a hitch.

Your standard working week will be 38.75 hours (excluding breaks), with the flexibility to work Saturdays and a day off during the week. You will be paid in accordance with total hours worked, allowing for variations in daily routes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive one of our 3.5-tonne vans and work alongside an assistant to fulfill our high-quality home delivery service.
  • Act as a professional representation of the Dreams brand at every touchpoint during delivery.
  • Lift and move furniture, such as mattresses and sofa beds, as part of your duties.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues through excellent communication skills.
  • Provide an exceptional service to each and every customer, going the extra mile when needed.

The Person:

We are looking for a friendly and personable individual with a passion for great service and making our customers happy. You will have a current valid UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points and previous 3.5T van driving experience. You will be a team player with a positive work ethic and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will also be resilient, able to remain calm under pressure, and have excellent communication skills.
