Nursery Practitioner Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Day Nursery and Preschool in Edinburgh. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and implementing engaging activities for children, promoting their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement activities tailored to each child's needs and interests
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Promote child welfare, protection, health, and safety
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging
  • Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
