Job Title: Unqualified Reception Teaching Assistant

EdEx is seeking a dedicated and passionate Unqualified Reception Teaching Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Primary School in the heart of Havering.

This is a long-term, full-time opportunity for the entire academic year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children across EYFS, Reception, and KS2 in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities that promote critical thinking, active listening, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to provide a comprehensive education and support children with their well-being.
  • Participate in Schools Direct opportunities for professional development and growth.
Requirements:
  • A degree from a reputable University.
  • A clear passion for education and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Good understanding of the Primary curriculum and general knowledge of SEN.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and provide excellent support to children and staff.
