The South Cumbria Rivers Trust is a charity working to protect and conserve the natural heritage of lakes, tarns, rivers, becks and estuaries in South Cumbria.
We work closely with local communities, government agencies, and conservation bodies to develop and deliver impactful projects that make a difference in our iconic landscapes.
This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Conflict Resolution Manager. Working alongside our Projects and Technical Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing project delivery and ensuring high performance from our team of dedicated staff.
In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and line management to our team, monitoring progress against deadlines and targets, and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve outstanding results.
You will also provide regular updates to our Board of Trustees on project outcomes, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring transparency and accountability across all activities.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership & Line Management: Oversee and mentor a dedicated team of staff covering engagement and education, ensuring high performance, motivation, and professional development.
- Project Oversight: Work together with the SCRT Projects and Technical Manager to ensure smooth project delivery, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as necessary.
- Reporting & Compliance: Regularly update the Board of Trustees on project outcomes, challenges, and opportunities, maintaining transparency and accountability.
