Job Summary

Metro Rod is seeking a skilled and dedicated Drainage Engineer to join our team in the Peterborough area. As a Drainage Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional levels of service to our valued and high-profile customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair, and maintenance of our customers' drains
  • Operate High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
  • Carry out surveys to identify and resolve drainage issues
  • Provide an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
  • Accurately record work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and apps
  • Communicate effectively with high-profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is always provided
  • Participate in an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7/365 days a year

Requirements

  • High pressure water jetting and CCTV Surveying experience, with a focus on commercial drainage
  • Confined space entry experience
  • CSCS tickets
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge
  • Positive, flexible, and can-do attitude
  • Willingness to work some unsociable hours
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Residency in the Peterborough area
