Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Support Worker to join our stroke team. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support patients in maximizing their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist occupational therapists in delivering rehabilitation programs to patients with stroke and other neurological conditions
- Support patients in developing their skills and abilities to carry out daily living activities
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient-centered goals
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized rehabilitation plans
- Provide administrative support to the team as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a rehabilitation or care setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hospital ICT systems
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
