As a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer at Owen Daniels Consultancy, you will be responsible for performing complex maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of production equipment. Your expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering will enable you to diagnose and repair faults, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

Job Overview
  • This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of £39,116.49 per annum, inclusive of shift allowance.
  • You will work on a rotating shift pattern, Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer who can take ownership of small projects, read and interpret equipment manuals, and perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform skilled tasks to assist in the daily running and preventative maintenance of production equipment.
  2. Diagnose and repair faults in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  3. Read and understand electrical drawings and blueprints.
  4. Use Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to develop planned and preventative maintenance schedules.
  5. Collaborate with the team to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities.
Requirements
  • Possession of HNC / NVQ / C&G qualifications in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Candidates must have experience in interpreting blueprints and specifications.
