Teaching Personnel Permanent Workforce is seeking an experienced Construction Tutor/Lecturer to join their team at a Further Education College in West Yorkshire. The role involves teaching Construction Multi Skills up to Level 3 to students aged over 14+.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning, both face-to-face and online, to a timetable that may include evening and non-term times.
  • Undertake tutorial responsibilities, including tracking and reviewing student progress and maintaining student records using Markbook and Promonitor.
  • Assist in the recruitment and admission of new students.
  • Participate in team meetings and course team reviews and evaluation.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum C&G Level 3 in any construction skill, such as Carpentry, Joinery, or Bricklaying.
  • Taught Multi Skills in the past up to Level 3, either on-site or in a classroom.
  • Holds an Assessors Award (A1, V1, IQA, etc.) is ideal, but not essential.
  • Have a relevant UK Teaching Qualification, such as PGCE, Cert Ed, or PTLLS, or be willing to work towards one, as the College can provide this.
