Job Description:

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assembly Technician to join our client's team in Woking, Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Automotive sector, with experience in Prototype Build, Motorsport, Aerospace, or Commercial Vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble units according to precise specifications and detailed instructions
  • Maintain component traceability and ensure the highest quality standards with minimal scrap
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues or discrepancies to maintain production schedules
  • Closely follow assembly instructions and maintain accurate documentation
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance assembly processes
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

  • Experience in the Automotive sector, Prototype Build, Motorsport, Aerospace, or Commercial Vehicles
  • Excellent demonstrable 'hands-on' skills in both R&D and production environments
  • Willingness to learn and work in part of multiple aspects of our clients clean tech assembly process
  • Good awareness of Health and Safety regulations
  • The ability to interpret engineering information in multiple formats with a focus on assembly instructions, 2D drawings and 3D CAD assemblies

About the Role:

This is a permanent position based in Surrey. The successful candidate can expect a £30,000 - £40,000 per annum salary, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
