Job Title: Cleaner

Blue Arrow is recruiting for a Cleaner to work for a well-established and growing waste management company based in Leyland and Thornton.

Pay: £12.33 per hour.

Overtime: Monday to Saturday paid at £18.50 per hour for hours worked over 37.5 hours and £24.66 per hour on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 10.00pm - 6.am

Location: Leyland - PR26

Job Role:
  • To collaborate with the maintenance and operational teams for general assignment of routine cleaning duties and other general duties as required.
  • Provide hands-on support as required for site operations.
  • Recording and reporting of completed work programmes.
  • Identification and reporting of asset-related defects during routine duties.
  • Attend and participate in shift safe start briefings.
  • Adhere to safe systems of work procedures.
  • Maintaining health and safety around the site.
  • Ability to work in an environment with foul odours, dust, and dirt.
Benefits:
  • Death in service cover at 4 times basic salary.
  • Pension matched up to 5%.
  • Sickness paid up to 20 weeks and increasing to 26 weeks from 1st January 2025.
  • Cycle to work scheme.
  • 34 days (inclusive of bank holidays) holiday increasing to 38 days (inclusive of bank holidays) with length of service.
