About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Care Navigator Team Leader to join our team at Tyntesfield Medical Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective supervision, planning, and conduct of reception duties by the Patient Care Navigator Team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead the Patient Care Navigator Team, ensuring they provide an efficient and effective reception service to all patients and visitors.
  • Implement and ensure the team is aware of practice protocols, procedures, and policies, including mandatory training.
  • Support clinical staff in the delivery of general, enhanced, and public health services, including identifying patients for dementia and learning difficulty health checks.
  • Act as the initial point of escalation for the Patient Care Navigator Team in the event of complaints, significant events, or health and safety occurrences.
  • Monitor and manage Patient Care Navigator sickness, holidays, and hours, including conducting Return to Work Interviews.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to third-party software.
  • Good planning and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of medical terminology.
