About the Job

A dedicated and passionate primary school in Newcastle is seeking a qualified teacher to take responsibility for a Year 5 class.

The successful candidate will deliver an engaging and creative curriculum that nurtures curiosity and independence, with a strong focus on academic excellence and personal development.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the minds of Year 5 pupils and play a pivotal role in preparing them for their transition into Year 6 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Teach a Year 5 class, delivering a curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils
  2. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote academic excellence and personal growth
  3. Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment
Requirements:
  1. Qualified Teacher Status (Primary)
  2. Good behaviour management
  3. Ability to work 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum
