We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our team of Linux Engineers, driving technical excellence and innovation in our production trading systems.

As a key member of our engineering organization, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading by example, prioritizing individual technical work and leadership responsibilities, and fostering a culture of collaboration and intellectual curiosity.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Linux Engineer Manager who can effectively support individuals and teams, build and grow firm-wide partnerships, and drive technical decision-making.

About You

We require a strong technical background, solid leadership experience, and a willingness to learn OCaml, our language of choice. The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  2. Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to efficiently analyze and deconstruct problems
  3. A successful track record of supporting individuals and helping teams thrive
  4. Experience building and growing firm-wide partnerships
  5. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills at various levels (technical, process, people, etc.)
  6. Deep knowledge of operating system fundamentals, especially Linux
  7. Fluency with the Unix command line and shell scripting
  8. Practical experience with modern Linux systems and systems programming concepts
  9. Basic understanding of network protocols
  10. Programming experience in any language
  11. Fluency in English required
