GAP Hire Solutions is seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic to join our nationwide team. As a key member of our depot team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of plant and tools within our fleet. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will work closely with customers to ensure that they can hire what they need, when they need it.
We offer a comprehensive package, including a competitive salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Our contributory pension scheme, life assurance, and employee welfare fund demonstrate our commitment to our employees' well-being. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
You will have a proven track record of working as a plant mechanic/fitter with a relevant mechanical qualification or time served. Your sound and current knowledge of heavy plant machinery maintenance will enable you to diagnose and repair complex issues efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure are also essential for this role.
