**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Quay Personnel. As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for selling our balancing service from our facility in the Wallasey area.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
- Identify and prospect potential customers through market research, cold calling, networking, and other lead generation methods.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and technical specifications of our products or services.
- Understand customer requirements and pain points, and offer customized solutions that address their specific needs.
- Collaborate with the technical team to provide technical expertise, support, and guidance during the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions of sales agreements to maximise profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and events to network with potential customers and promote our products or services.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and updates to the sales manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
**Requirements**
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Proven experience in technical sales or a similar role, preferably within the same industry.
- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of complex technical products or services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Solid understanding of sales principles and techniques, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to sales.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide innovative solutions to customer needs.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
