About the Role:


We are seeking a Quality Assurance Professional to join our team at Premier Nutrition, a leading provider of vitamin premix to manufacturers of animal feed across Europe and Asia. As a Quality Apprentice, you will play a vital role in our quality provision, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders such as nutritionists, production teams, and certification bodies.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting internal audits against standards like UFAS and FSSC 22000
  • Overseeing pest control activities and ensuring timely resolution of issues
  • Supporting teams with complaint and internal failures investigations
  • Analysing incoming raw material using NIR
  • Handling data systems and reporting
  • Preparing samples for external analysis
  • Upholding feed safety standards


Requirements:

  • A commitment to study, and to be confident with remote learning – (necessary)
  • Effective communication and willingness to challenge the norm
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Team player mindset
  • Interest in Agriculture or Animal Feed (Advantageous)


Qualifications:

  • GCSE Maths and English at grades 4-9 (A* - C) Is necessary.
  • A Level in a science related subject (Desirable)


Our salary package includes an estimated £25,000 per annum, which is competitive for the area. You will also have opportunities to visit other UK locations and work with various departments within the company.
